The auditions are open to all eligible dancers in the St. Louis area and there is no fee! Both auditions will be held at Alexandra School of Ballet. Open to all eligible dancers in the St. Louis area. Our season will include The Nutcracker, our Mainstage production of Cinderella and a diverse collection of works for our Winter Repertory Performance! Candidates should be at least 9 years of age. Dancers younger than age nine may audition if they are in our Beginner IV level or higher.
Current Juniors that are aspiring towards the Apprentice level should know that if they are not accepted into the Apprentice Company they will be considered for the Junior Company.

Ladies should wear a leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Pointe shoes are not needed for this audition. Boys should wear standard classical attire (white shirt, black tights, white socks and shoes.)

(Advanced and Intermediate Level)

Ladies should wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballets shoes, and have pointe shoes ready. Gentlemen should wear a white shirt, black tights, and white shoes and socks.

Audition is necessary for the advanced summer programs only. Audition classes will be held at the Alexandra School of Ballet on Saturdays at 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Video may be sent if unavailable to audition. Call 314-469-6222 or e-mail a request for an audition one week prior to the audition date. Bring a photo in first arabesque. Current students of Alexandra School of Ballet do not need to audition.
