Thank you so much for the school performance .... The experience was delightful and our children were thrilled and inspired to see ballet performed with such beauty and excellence. We also enjoyed the "behind the scenes" tour. Getting an inside peak into how the stage is put together gave us an appreciation for how much goes into such a production. We greatly appreciate your commitment to making ballet a part of children's educational experience. Our lives have been enriched by your generosity!

Alexandra Ballet offers various types of free performances to students and others in the community.

Students heading to Touhill

One of our educational outreach programs, the annual Young People's Performances, reaches over 3,000 students, most of whom might not otherwise be exposed to the magical world of classical and contemporary ballet, free of charge every year. Contact our office today to reserve space for your school now - we have long waiting lists for this event!

It has become a tradition in St. Louis for Alexandra Ballet to perform in Rhapsody in Bloom at St. Louis Botanical Gardens and Sugar Plum Parties at Galleria every year. Both events are free to public. Sugar Plum Parties offer young children the opportunity to participate in educational activities before and after the performance of an abbreviated version of the Nutcracker.

Alexandra Ballet has cooperated with organizations such as St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Girl Scouts of America, Polish American Society, and Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, and invites other organizations to join us in our efforts to educate, elevate, and enrich St. Louis communities through the art of dance.
