Mrs. Enker, a native of Russia, is an accomplished pianist, accompanist,
and teacher. Upon graduating from the Leningrad Conservatory of Music with a Ph.D.- equivalent in piano performance, she worked
as a professor of music and as an opera accompanist. Since arriving in the United States, she has been a successful teacher
and as well as a sought-after classical music accompanist. Her experience in ballet accompaniment includes playing for the
Butler University Department of Dance for seven years and working as the Music Director of Ballet Internationale, Indianapolis
under the artistic direction of Eldar Aliev. In addition, for the last five summers, she has accompanied dancers at the Joffery
Midwest Workshop in Flint, Michigan under the direction of John Magnus. Mrs. Enker currently accompanies ballet classes at
Ballet Internationale, the Jewish Community Center, and the Clara R. Noyes Academy of Ballet Internationale. Mrs. Enker enjoys
teaching piano and accompanying for various instruments and voice, while residing with her husband in Indianapolis, Indiana.
