Giselle at the Touhill on February 21-22
The masterpiece of the Romantic Era tells the poignant story of an innocent peasant girl granting protection and mercy to the man who betrays her. Music by Adolphe Adam and restaging by internationally-renowned choreographer Marek Cholewa. Performing the feature role of Giselle will be Alexandra Ballet alumna Georgia (Jennifer) Reed. Special guest artist Brian Grant will dance the role of Albrecht.

At 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, a reception will be held at the Touhill Promenade Lobby honoring artistic co-director Alexandra Zaharias' 65 years of teaching. This special evening begins with a meet-and-greet with scores of Alexandra Ballet alumni from around the world. Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, then watch the debut screening of the documentary tribute, “Miss A. The Gift of Grace: A Documentary” chronicling her incredible journey to this career milestone, featuring photos and interviews with many of her former students, dancers and colleagues, followed by Alexandra Ballet’s endearing performance of Giselle.
